Program Charges

The cost of your stay is an all inclusive tariff and dependent on your choice of accommodation type and season of your stay and the number of days of the program.Your program will be inclusive of specific meal/ juice diets and activities designated within the program.

Your program will run a specific number of days, which is the minimum charge for that program. Should you be required, or want a longer stay, need or want changes or additional services, additional charges will be advised and charged to your credit card preferably 30 days before your arrival.The following standard costs are for accommodation, meals and treatments within the chosen program per person, per night and do not include additional activities that you may book.

Please choose your accommodation you prefer carefully, as once the room has been confirmed and charged to you, the room will not be released to any other guest and can not be changed without additional charges.

All suites and rooms have:

CD player, fan, table and easy chairs.

The lodge is built on the side of a steep rainforest valley and is perfect for natural non-aggressive exercise.

There are steps to all rooms and facilities.

Rooms denoted MS have from 10 to 70 steps to access them.

Rooms not designated MS have less than 10 steps.

All rooms have at least 4 steps.

The spa, pool, beach and grill all have more than 60 steps to reach them.
As the lodge was built on a steep site 12- 15 years ago, we can not accept your booking, if you can not negotiate the property and it's steps unassisted. You can however bring your own staff to help assist you around the property - (See carer’s/staff rates above.)

Rates

Rates are per person per night in Australian dollars plus 22% for service charges and government taxes. See costings and inclusions below.

Seasons- HIGH- 1/May to 15/January, LOW- 16/January to 30/April.

Carers/ staff/ partners of clients stay for 50% of tariff whilst sharing in same room as client- Similar meals included. Therapies and programs not inclusive.

Training of carers/ staff- available upon request before arrival, at additional charges T.B.A.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKINGS

  • Payment- Must be by credit card (Visa/Mastercard) in full, a minimum 30 days before arrival.
  • Insurance- We advise all our clients to take out travel and medical insurance to cover any and all possible non-arrival/ early departure cancellation scenarios and to ensure that medical insurance for ambulance and medical/hospital costs is valid should these services be required.
  • Refunds- No refunds are allowable once booking is confirmed.
  • You request Deferment- You may defer your stay for up to 90 days if we have availability on your preferred dates, if you give us a reasonable reason for deferment at least 30 days before your booked date.
  • We request Deferment- We reserve the right to defer your program at any time should unforeseen circumstances prevent us from for forefilling our agreement with you. The reasons may include, but are not limited to:- therapists and staff get sick and can not attend at short notice, unsuitable weather conditions may prevail or other major problems may come up which are completely out of our control.

    Should this occur, we agree to allow you free of any further charge, a full program of the same type that you booked, at a date to suit both parties within 180 days of your previously booked program. In the unfortunate event that we do defer your program, we can not cover your transport costs and advise you to have ample travel insurance covering all situations.
  • You Cancel- 100% cancellation fee is applicable should you not arrive as scheduled or cancel for any reason within 30 days of your booked date.
  • Your health- you must notify us if you have any health issues, disabilities or diseases that may be relevant to the lodge, other guests and staff and which may influence our decision to accept you as a client. If you do not and we can not allow you to stay, there will be no refunds. There will be no refunds if you leave early for any reason.
  • Examples of things you should tell us- Things we need to know about you include but are not limited to- disabilities, diabetes, dietary restrictions, coronary and heart problems, infectious diseases, mental health problems and other conditions that require you to have specialized or extra staff or accommodations. 
  • ‘You understand that all programs start on Sunday afternoon. You understand that it is imperative that you organize for your transport to arrive at cairns airport by 1.30 pm. On the Sunday of your stay for coach departure at 2 pm (or as may be otherwise advised).
  • All programs start on the Sunday afternoon of your arrival from cairns at approx. 4.15 pm.
  • Your check- in, lodge orientation and consultations will commence as soon as you arrive at 4.15 pm.
  • Departure- your check- out time is 9 am on the Sunday of your departure.
    Coach departure is Sunday at 10 am.

    Please book your return flights from cairns airport after
    12 .30 pm.
  • Should you choose another form of transport to/ from the lodge, you agree that you will inform us of your intention to do so at least a minimum of one week prior to arriving. You will arrive no earlier than 4 pm and no later than 5 pm on the Sunday of the start of your stay and that you will inform us of your exact arrival time one hour before arriving at the lodge.
  • Should you not arrive on schedule by your own volition, the lodge management reserves the right to refuse you admittance to the lodge (to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced or disturbed) and may cancel your booking with no refunds payable or deferments possible.
  • Please inform us when confirming your booking of any food allergies or particular food dislikes as we are rarely able to vary our locally seasonally procured menu items and can not do so after your arrival.
