The Lodge has 2 spas:

1. A three level tree house set high up into the rainforest canopy.
   There are 4 wet and dry treatment rooms, spa room, lounge for sleeping, quite relaxation and yogic practice.
2. A mini-healing spa with 4 treatment rooms specially designed for internal and external cleansing. Luxurious pampering spa and massage treatments.
3. Sadhana yoga and clinic designed for your complete privacy.

We aim to have no more than 10 guests at any one time and as such you will be assured of anonymity and privacy without feeling alone.

Our guests are those specifically looking for a healthy retreat from the rat race to privacy, solitude and space, definitely not a hotel style experience.

All of our guests have the desire to improve their health and de-tox from modern day substances and have specialized health programs and therapies designed for their needs within the Lodge's Medical Spa facility. We recommend all guests have a specifically tailored program designed for their individual needs which will include some form of internal body cleansing and fasting.

Many of our clients are wishing to detox and cleanse their body from problems such as exhaustion, weight, cancer, depression, substance abuse to name a few. All our guests come to us looking for a lifechanging experience and this is what we deliver.

We have no quarms in guaranteeing you will be amazed at the change you feel to your health and well- being when leaving Bedarra Lodge and Spa.

All guests are encouraged to invest some of their time in a private counseling and assessment session with one of our trained staff or visiting specialist practitioners.

Bedarra Lodge Spa is the only known health spa that specializes in the use of specially grown and selected organic, locally grown rainforest plants and fruits. As an example, the papaya "the medicine tree" is used widely in our treatments.

Not only is this special variety absolutely delicious (unlike most other papaya fruit found in a supermarket), it has tremendous curative values.

Papaya plants and fruits have long been known as the "medicine tree".

The Australian Native aborigine used all parts of the tree within their bag of natural remedies for thousands of years.

Most of the tree is used in our different therapies. From cleansing juices which clean the intestines and stimulate the colon, to the skin of the fruit which is used to in specialised facial preparations, scrubs and peels.

The most valuable part of the plant is the leaves. They are made into tea or juice and have been well known for their healing properties with cancer patients.

We have to insist that all our guests consult their family GP about their intending visit to Bedarra Spa with any important results given to the Lodge at least 30 days before attending any of the Lodge's programs to ensure you enjoy a suitable and fruitful program.
